Downtown Day Services Center Celebrates Second Anniversary

Happy second anniversary to the Downtown Day Services Center! The Center is made possible by a grant from the DC Department of Human Services (DHS) and through the great work of our service providers, including Pathways to Housing DC. This past year was marked by extreme challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the DowntownDC BID never ceased operations, services and meal distribution for those in need.

Since opening in February 2019, the Center has:

• Served over 67,500 guests
• Served over 55,000 meals
• Provided 11,000 showers
• Run 5,500 loads of laundry
• Secured housing for over 50 individuals
• And more!
