Gather at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Friday, September 11, 2026, for an unforgettable night celebrating Ethiopian culture, music, fashion, achievement, and community.
This year’s celebration brings together the DMV’s Ethiopian community and friends for a vibrant New Year experience featuring:
- 🇪🇹 Live performance by Lij Mic
- 🎤 Comedy by Kebebew Geda
- 🎶 Live Ethiopian band & DJs
- 🏆 SEBAT — Ethiopian Diaspora Excellence Awards, honoring seven outstanding individuals and organizations
Come dressed to celebrate and experience a night where tradition meets a new generation.
Whether you’re Ethiopian, part of the diaspora, or simply love Ethiopian culture, everyone is welcome to celebrate with us.
