About The Event
The gift lists are coming, the festive mood is building, and there’s no better way to get things started than the 2026 DowntownDC Holiday Market Grand Opening Kick-Off, marking the 22nd return of Downtown’s beloved marketplace.
Join us on F Street NW between 7th and 9th Streets as we cut the ribbon to officially welcome the Holiday Market back to downtown! The kickoff will feature opening remarks, live entertainment, and a first look at the seasonal vendors and unique finds waiting to be discovered. Stay tuned for more details on our featured speakers and performers.
New this year, the Holiday Market will be open for 40 days, giving visitors even more time to browse, shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, and enjoy the holiday atmosphere in the heart of the city. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the DowntownDC Holiday Market will officially open to the public at 11:00 a.m., inviting everyone to shop, explore, and get into the festive cheer.
