
Celebrating International Women’s Day: “Through Dada’s Eyes”
About The Event
Join Women for Women International (WFWI) at Touchstone Gallery to celebrate International Womenâs Day with a screening of the organization’s virtual reality film, Through Dadaâs Eyes. Through this immersive storytelling experience, you will learn about Dada, a participant of WFWI’s programming and how she found the power to transform her world despite facing constant conflict and poverty in Bauchi State, Nigeria.
The screening will be followed by a conversation between renowned Nigerian actress and activist Stella Damasus and Laurie Adams, CEO of WFWI.
VR headsets will be provided for the screening, and light refreshments will be served. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
