Chinatown Park Reopens

US Reservation 72, also known as Chinatown Park, has reopened to the public after undergoing a six-month refurbishment. The DowntownDC BID partnered with the National Park Service (NPS) to replace and realign the park’s interior sidewalks, expand and upgrade the irrigation system, and install new sod, trash cans, and plenty of benches.  In addition, NPS will plant several new trees in the park later this fall.  The lawn will remain fenced off for a short time to allow the new sod to establish.
