Get ready for another Best of Washington get-together, set to take place at the National Building Museum (401 F Street) on Wednesday, July 11, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. See which winners from Washingtonian magazine’s “Best of Washington” issue will serve up decadent food and drink. Hint: Downtown DC will represent!
In fact, about a dozen Downtown establishments will offer up some of their best savory dishes. They include Adour (923 16th Street), Elisir Restaurant by Enzo Fargione (427 11th Street), The Source by Wolfgang Puck (575 Pennsylvania Avenue), Matchbox (713 H Street) and Ping Pong Dim Sum (900 7th Street).
This year all funds from the silent auction and a portion of ticket proceeds will once again benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. So sample, sip and socialize. Purchase tickets while they last. The cost for early admission, which starts at 6:00 pm, is $175. General admission starts at 7:00 pm and costs $125.
