About The Event
Kick off the Independence weekend with the ultimate happy hour and game night combo! Join Planet Word on the first Wednesday of July for a special America 250 edition of their signature after-hours event.
All three floors of the museum will stay open late, including their interactive “Unlock the Music” karaoke gallery and the laugh-out-loud “Joking Around” humor gallery. Bring your friends, grab a drink, and test your knowledge with themed games and crafts.
Explore the museum and check out their A250 exhibit takeover in the Lend Me Your Ears gallery where you can deliver a historic American speech yourself. Special activities include:
- 1776 Slang Match
- Declaration of Independence Black-Out Poetry
- “What Does the 4th of July Mean to You?”
- Short Story Dispenser
