About The Event
A little creativity goes a long way in Downtown DC! On Sunday, November 15, bring the whole family to the Smithsonian American Art Museum for American Art Family Day, a FREE afternoon of hands-on activities and artistic exploration!
Celebrate the museum’s newly reopened collection galleries with a variety of activities designed to spark creativity for all ages. Try your hand at still life sketching, explore the elements of art throughout the galleries, and let little artists ages 12 and under enjoy crafts and coloring in the Kogod Courtyard! Plus, stop by the Courtyard Café for special food and beverage offerings available for purchase. Registration is encouraged, so don’t miss out on this art-filled family outing!
