Love, laughter, and mistaken identities take center stage in Twelfth Night, one of Shakespeare’s most beloved romantic comedies.
When Viola is separated from her twin brother, Sebastian, she disguises herself as a young man named Cesario, setting off a whirlwind of unrequited love, mistaken identity, and comedic twists. Beneath the humor, the play explores longing, identity, and the courage to be your true self.
This contemporary production, directed by Randy Baker, Co-Artistic Director of DC’s Rorschach Theatre, reimagines the classic story through the lens of modern-day high school students, giving Shakespeare’s timeless comedy a fresh and relatable new perspective.
