About The Event
Get ready to tinker, create, and explore at Tinkerfest on Sunday, October 4, at the National Children’s Museum. This museum-wide celebration brings hands-on learning and creative thinking to life for children ages 0–12 and their families.
Sponsored by GM, Tinkerfest features interactive STEAM activities, live demonstrations, creative projects, and hands-on experiences. Explore stations throughout the Museum, roll up your sleeves, and turn big ideas into something you can see, touch, and build. Meet local and national partner organizations and discover even more ways to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Families can meet STEAM experts, try new activities, and learn through play.
Can’t make it Sunday? Stop by on Saturday, October 3, for indoor Tinkerfest pop-ups throughout the day and get a sneak peek at the fun.
