Grab a glass and join the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) for the 2k19 DowntownDC Momentum Awards to toast this yearâs visionaries who made DowntownDC an amazing place to live, work and play.
Itâs all happening Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 5:30-8pm at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Come early to mix and mingle with whoâs who in DowntownDC during the cocktail hour, followed by the awards ceremony.
Award winners for 2k19 will include Downtown Person-of-the-Year; Public Sector Person, Project or Program; Private Sector Person, Project or Program; Partnership; Landmark Development Project; Downtown Detail; Downtown Experience and Downtown Visionary.
The DowntownDC Experience award is up for public vote! Make your voice heard and share the best event or experience that made DowntownDC the place to be. Click here to see a list of nominees and cast your vote.
Featured entertainment includes music by DJ Premonition “The True King” – A staple in the DC club scene with regular sets at premiere venues like Bar 7, Lotus, and Rosebar.  For over 10 years, DJ Premonition has been the house DJ for the nationally renown Howard Homecoming, playing at numerous events including YardFest, the Greek Step Show, MeccaFest and the infamous #1000Bottles Party. Now an international talent, Premonition has performed private and corporate events throughout the United States, Central America and the Caribbean.
