About The Event
On Saturday, June 20, the iconic Capital Pride Parade returns, celebrating the legacy and continued impact of the Pride movement. This beloved tradition honors LGBTQ+ history in Washington, DC, and the ongoing fight for equality.
Pennsylvania Avenue is transforming into a vibrant corridor of celebration, with colorful floats, live performances, exhibitors, food, and beverage gardens—all set against the backdrop of the U.S. Capitol. Joined by grand marshals and community groups from across the LGBTQ+ community, the parade showcases multicultural performances and celebrate the spirit of Pride in the nation’s capital.
Parade Route
The Parade is anticipated to begin at 14th and T St NW and end at Pennsylvania Ave and 9th St NW. Please note that the route is subject to change.
Parade Grandstand Bleachers
Enjoy a front-row seat to the celebration with Grand Stand Bleacher Seating at Franklin Park! Relax in shaded seating under the trees while watching the Prideful floats, performers, and thousands of community members march. Single Entry Ticket: $40.
Parade ASL & Accessible Seating Location
- Location 1: 14th St & T St NW
- Location 2: Franklin Park (West Lawn) – 957 14th Street NW
- Location 3: Thomas Circle NW – Massachusetts Ave
Entry to the seatings are free, but registration is required for a wristband.
