About The Event
Celebrate the start of a new school year with a weekend of Back-To-School Pop-Ups – a program that helps prep young learners for the classroom!
From Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23, join the National Children’s Museum and let the students stretch their learning muscles while exploring things like science, geometry, reading, and mindfulness.

- 🔷 Shape Builders: Put your geometry skills to work! Combine smaller shapes to build bigger ones and see what you can create.
- 🔷 Back-to-School Storytime: Settle in for a back-to-school story, then explore what happens at the beginning, middle, and end through fun activities and discussion.
- 🔷 Microscopic Observation: Get a closer look at the world around you! Use microscopes to discover hidden patterns, shapes, and textures in everyday objects.
