About The Event
Join D.C.’s first APPI Cocktail Week from Monday, May 22, through Friday, May 26, to celebrate the rich and diverse heritage of Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures through the art of craft cocktails.
Only 3.7% of bartenders in the U.S. are AAPI, and the goal of this week is to showcase the influence of Asian spirits and ingredients in bars and restaurants while providing a platform for AAPI bartenders to showcase their talents and cultures. A lineup of special events connects cocktail enthusiasts with spirits makers and business owners, all while supporting and strengthening our local communities.
All proceeds from AAPI Cocktail Week events will help cover costs and be donated to two local AAPI organizations, AALEAD and Domestic Violence Resource Project.
