It’s time to chow down again! The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) stopped by Bantam King (444 7th Street) during lunch for the fourth installment of our ChowtownDC restaurant video series (#chowtowndc).

Simple and fun, Bantam King is the only Japanese ramen shop in D.C. where chicken ramen is the specialty. The Chinatown restaurant’s playful decor explodes with Japanese culture.

The BID sampled chicken ramen, fried chicken, dumplings, rice with chicken drippings and miso soup. Watch the video feature to find out what item marinates for three hours and is transformed into gooey goodness.

DowntownDC is a dining destination. From world-class restaurants and fine dining, to the hottest street food takeout, DowntownDC offers a variety of cuisines at every price point.

The video of Bantam King is the fourth and final episode for this season of ChowtownDC, a new video series by the DowntownDC BID offering viewers an inside look at some of DowntownDC’s most popular places to eat.
