Calling all youth talent. It’s your time to shine! The summer will be HOT with the return of Kids World this July, and we’re on the lookout for big stars to grace the KW Main Stage!
If you or someone you know is between the ages of 5-17 and have a talent that deserves the spotlight—whether it’s singing, dancing, playing in a band, poetry/spoken word, or something totally unique—we want to see it.
How to Enter the Kids World Youth Talent Call
Submit a short video (2-3 minutes) of youth performing the talent to events@downtowndc.org by 11:59 p.m. June 30, 2025. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Format the email’s subject line as: “Last Name, First Name_KW Talent Submission”
In the body of the email, please include:
- Talent’s Full Name, Age, Grade, and School.
- Where are you from? Do you currently reside in the DMV?
- Why would you like to perform at Kids World?
- How long have you been performing/studying your craft?
- Is there anything special you would like us to know about you?
- Parent/Guardian Information:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Mobile Phone Number
- Will youth be able to perform on both days (July 26 & 27)?
Selected talent will be announced by July 7, 2025. Inquiries can also be submitted to events@downtowndc.org.
Kids World 2025 Event Details
- Date: July 26 – 27, 2025.
- Time: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Location: Franklin Park, 1332 I (Eye) Street NW, Washington, DC 20001.
- Performance Commitment: Selected performers must be available to perform on BOTH days at their assigned times.
- Performance Duration: Each performance may range from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the act.
- Compensation: All performers will be compensated according to group size.
- Parents/Guardians Requirement: Performers under 17 years old must have a parent or guardian present on-site during the event.
- Attire: Performers are responsible for providing their own performance outfits, as well as hair and makeup.
