
Cafe du Parc Becomes Certified Green Restaurant
Kudos to Café du Parc located at the Willard InterContinental Hotel (1401 Pennsylvania Avenue)! The French bistro recently became the first DC hotel restaurant to obtain recognition as a 3-star Certified Green Restaurant. Who’s surprised? The Willard InterContinental Hotel is a major steward of the environment, having won several awards and implemented eco-friendly amenities, programs and activities. Café du Parc received 181.9 green points from the Green Restaurant Association, a non-profit organization that helps restaurants become more environmentally sustainable, for implementing 58 steps in seven categories, including waste, energy, and water.
