For the last three years the American Dialect Society has allowed the public behind the curtain in its annual selection of the Word of the Year. Following an open nomination process, join Ben Zimmer and Kelly Wright of the New Words Committee as they reveal and react to what words and phrases have been selected for the 2022 Word of the Year.
