About The Event

The Petworth Neighborhood library presents a #WHM (Women’s History Month) Open Mic where we’ll sing, rap and deliver our prose all in the spirit of Women’s History Month. For two hours audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices and a vast assemblage of spoken word performers, open mic rookies and musicians. Expect to be moved, expect a packed house, expect the unexpected, but above all come with an open mind and ear.
