Watch the World Cup on Freedom Plaza
About The Event
The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) has partnered with the Executive Office of Mayor Muriel Bowser, Comcast Business and Events DC to bring the 2018 FIFA World Cup to Freedom Plaza (13th & Pennsylvania Avenue NW) on July 10 & 11.
DC United will be on-site each day beginning at 1pm with giveaways and a live raffle. The game livestream, transmitted via Telemundo and shown on a Jumbo TV overlooking the plaza, will begin at 2pm each day and end after 90 minutes or following the conclusion of each game. Limited seating will be available and guests are encouraged to bring additional seating options. Food trucks will be in attendance.
DC Water will provide misting tents and drinking water for guests. On-site facilities will be available. Attendees are advised to prepare for high temperatures.
Guests will have the opportunity to commemorate the July 10 event with an on-site photo booth provided by OM Digital.
