Virtual Concert | Congressional Chorus presents This is Her Story
About The Event
Performed by the Congressional Chorus and joined by a host of collaborators, this virtual concert will pay homage to some of the greatest Black women composers, arrangers and performers from various generations of music. The program will range from classical, jazz, folk, and gospel selections. We are honored to be featuring as guest artists: Afro Blue from Howard University, Brandie Sutton from the Metropolitan Opera and Dr. Leah Claiborne from the University of the District Of Columbia. Featuring an all black female band accompanying the chorus, this show is not one to miss!
