About The Event

The National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty is hosting its annual McKinney-Vento Awards Ceremony on September 22, 2016. NLCHP created this event to recognize individuals and organizations that have advanced solutions to ending homelessness and poverty in honor of congressmen Stewart B. McKinney and Bruce F. Vento. This year we are honoring John Wall from the Washington Wizards as well as Senator Sue Collins for their dedication to helping homeless communities! Our event will take place at The Liaison Capital Hill at 7:00 p.m. (Registration opens at 6:00 p.m.).
