About The Event
Step inside a Boston-area Goodwill where everyone has a story and everything has a past in Ten Grand, coming to the Woolly Mammoth Theatre February 2027. The new play follows a group of employees and customers whose everyday routines, crushes, rivalries, and rituals unfold among piles of “gently used” treasures.
But when an unexpected item appears in the donation bin, ordinary workplace drama takes a surprising turn, and the stakes become much higher. Written by Kate Cortesi and directed by Reggie D. White, Ten Grand explores discarded people, community care, and the stories that shape our lives.
Catch this funny, unexpected, and thought-provoking new production in Penn Quarter and discover what happens when a seemingly ordinary day at Goodwill becomes anything but ordinary.
