About The Event

SongSLAM DC brings together 10 bold composer-performer teams to debut brand-new art songs—and compete for $2,000 in cash prizes. Each team has just five minutes to captivate the crowd with an original work for voice and one instrument, in any language. Then the audience takes over, voting slam-style for their favorites in an electrifying night hosted by Lori Laitman.
