Step into infinity with Portals, two dazzling new light installations by renowned British-American artist Anthony James. Crafted from stainless steel, specialized glass, and LED lights with a solar black finish, the 70-inch Dodecahedron and 80-inch Truncated Icosahedron transform sacred geometry into glowing gateways of reflection and wonder.
James, celebrated for merging science, spirituality, and philosophy into immersive sculpture, describes his work as bringing “an impossible concept like infinity, or the cosmos, into physical objective existence.” These mesmerizing structures invite viewers to pause, reflect, and experience a sense of infinity that challenges perception and connects to something beyond the self. Portals is located at Anthem Row, a growing spot for Arts, Culture, and Entertainment in Downtown DC.
