NEW KID with Imagination Stage at Planet Word
About The Event
Attend a performance of New Kid by Dennis Foon produced by Imagination Stage; then, visit Planet Wordâs galleries to reflect on all the ways we use language to connect or divide. This not-to-be-missed, unique experience will celebrate language learning, foster empathy for the immigrant experience, and demonstrate how one can communicate important ideas through writing and artistic expression. This event is open to all ages but best suited for 3rdâ5th graders and their families.
Registration for this event opens on Friday, January 5, and includes a performance of New Kid followed by general admission to the museum. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be available for the performance.
