About The Event

The founders of SOCAP (Social Capital Markets) are excited to welcome you what is next, it’s called Neighborhood Economics.

By taking impact investing local we are determined to build resilient community wealth through inclusive economic development and are excited to focus this year on the nations capital, Washington DC.

While Washington may receive most of its attention for our polarized politics, just off the radar innovators are creating more just, resilient, and equitable economy through collaboration. We are excited to highlight breakthrough entrepreneurs and organizations to begin accelerating capital towards initiatives and companies with a stellar track record and profound potential.

Alongside these local heroes we will feature the nation’s leading practitioners, entrepreneurs, activists, and community investors to explore together how to create a local economy that creates wealth for all neighborhoods, revives local food systems and heals the planet.
