About The Event

Luce Unplugged invites local musicians to perform in the SAAM’s one-of-a-kind programming space, the Luce Foundation Center, surrounded by more than 3,000 works of art. This series is presented with Hometown Sounds, a biweekly podcast and music blog.  Libations and snacks are available for purchase from an on-site bar. A staff-led talk about artworks chosen by the performing artists starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by a performance at 6 p.m.

Recently reunited DC indie power-pop band, Washington Social Club, takes center-stage to spread their raucous energy and spitfire melodies. Join us to celebrate their reunion, and the release of their first album in 11 years.

Talk at 5:30 p.m. | Music at 6 p.m.
