Join the Krewe of Pyros for its Inaugural Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, August 8, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., as they bring the FIYAH from Chinatown Park to Anthem Row.
Line the parade route and enjoy dazzling floats, lively marching bands, and authentic brass bands from DC and Louisiana in a colorful celebration that brings the spirit of Mardi Gras to the heart of DowntownDC. Gather your family, invite your friends, and experience an unforgettable morning filled with music, culture, community, and New Orleans flair.
Parade Route
Starting at Chinatown Park (6th & I Street NW), the parade marches down 7th Street, bringing Downtown to life with bold colors, lively floats, and high-energy marching units. Ending the route at Anthem Row the Krewe of Pyros Inaugural Mardi Gras Parade wraps the day up in dazzling fun and festive magic. See the attached route map for details.
