Kids World 2024 – Youth Talent Call

Are you or do you know a young singer, dancer, rapper, magician, or have any other talent you’re eager to share with the world? The DowntownDC BID is hosting a Youth Talent Call, giving talented youth between the ages of 5 and 17 a chance to shine on stage! Whether you’re a solo act or part of a group, we want to see what you’ve got. Register NOW.

Talent Call Details

• DATE: Saturday, May 25, 2024 (No make-up date)
• TIME: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• LOCATION: 1275 K Street NW, Washington, DC (Lower Level)
• AUDITION DURATION: 10 minutes per act.
• ATTIRE: Appropriate attire is required for both the audition and the performance.
• PARENT/GUARDIAN REQUIREMENT: Performers under 17 years old must have a parent or guardian present on-site during the audition.
• REGISTRATION: Register in advance HERE to guarantee an audition spot. Walk-ins are also welcome, but availability is subject to space.

• LOCATION: Franklin Park, 1332 I St NW, Washington, DC
• PERFORMANCE COMMITMENT: Selected performers must be available to perform on BOTH days at their assigned times.
• COMPENSATION: All performers will be compensated according to group size.
• PARENT/GUARDIAN REQUIREMENT: Performers under 17 years old must have a parent or guardian present on-site during the event.
• PERFORMANCE DURATION: Each performance may range from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the act.
• OUTDOOR EVENT: The event will take place outdoors, rain or shine.
• ATTIRE AND GROOMING: Performers are responsible for providing their own performance outfits, as well as hair and makeup.
