About The Event
Get ready to play, learn, and explore. Kids World is back and bigger than ever! On July 26–27, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Franklin Park transforms into a high-energy, imagination-fueled kid-oasis with two full days of hands-on activities, show-stopping kid-talent, and non-stop fun for the whole family. From toddlers to tweens (and their grown-ups too), there’s something for every curious mind and adventurous spirit.
Presented by Events DC and supported by major sponsors DC Public Library Foundation, and Amazon, Kids World is a FREE, immersive experience packed with exciting activations that celebrate literacy, creativity, science, nature, performing arts, entrepreneurship, and more. Expect fan-favorite activity zones, larger-than-life installations, and unforgettable photo ops, including the much-anticipated return of Francis and Francesca, the towering bear siblings who stole the show last year. Get your cameras ready because these cuddly giants are back for hugs and snapshots!
