On Friday, June 13 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., join the Home Rule Music Festival for the âRooted in Rhythmâ Youth Showcase, a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity that brings together the incredible youth of Washington, D.C.
Taking place at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, experience the electrifying performances from DCPSâ Letâs Go-Go Band, Girls Rock! DC, The Musicianshipâs Washington Youth Choir, and Soul of SEED. Witness the magic as these talented individuals and groups take the stage, culminating in an unforgettable collaborative ensemble finale where students unite their voices and rhythms for a spectacular joint performance. Behind the scenes, the dedicated Theatre Production students from Duke Ellington School of the Arts will expertly manage production elements, all under the guidance of industry professionals. This event isnât just a showcase; it’s a powerful testament to community, collaboration, and the limitless potential of our youth
