About The Event

On Saturday, December 21 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., bring the family and enjoy Holiday Hype, an unforgettable afternoon in the city based on the Department of Parks and Recreation’s #LateNightHype series with a holiday twist and a little help from our friends at DC Public Library and the DowntownDC BID, all near the DowntownDC Holiday Market.

There will be fun for all ages with activities, including:

Holiday Card & Ornament Making
Stocking Stuffers & Crafts
️ Holiday Marketplace featuring handmade goods by local young entrepreneurs
Special Guest: Santa Claus
☕ Chocolate & Chill
Groove to the music

Cost: FREE.
Location: Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.
Nearest Metro: Gallery Place-Chinatown Station (Red/Green/Yellow lines) via the 9th and G Street Exit.
