Colorfully portrayed collages, poems, and painted figures keep company with mixed media sculptures in Rosemary Luckettâs solo exhibition at Touchstone Gallery, “Her Garden House: Unearthed Metaphors.”
Her poems and figures are metaphors unearthed from âthose countless wild gardens and natural biomes in need of restorative care on the island house of gardens we call Mother Earth. Human gardeners, in tandem with the insects, birds and other wildlife, nurture their small, individual plots while also being healed in the process; thus, perpetuating this magnificent web of seen and unseen, physical and spiritual life,â Luckett says.
