Looking for a spooky good time? Get ready for a month full of optical tricks, illusions, and Halloween fun at the Museum of Illusions DC! Whether youâre coming for our thrilling, happy hours or our family-friendly activities, thereâs something for everyone this spooky season.
Boo & Brew Happy Hours
Every Thursday in October from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., step into a world where reality gets twisted! Boo & Brew Halloween Happy Hour. Explore the Museum of Illusionsâ exhibits with a chilled drink in hand, and enjoy a night of mesmerizing fun. The entire museum will be decked out with Halloween-themed illusions, lighting effects, and eerie music. Come dressed in your best Halloween attire for the costume contest for a chance to win exciting prizes.
Halloween Scavenger Hunts for Kids
Calling all mini-detectives! From October 26 – November 2, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., kids aged 12 and under can join in on the Halloween Scavenger Hunt, exploring the museum to find hidden Halloween-themed stickers. As they search for clues among the illusions, theyâll learn fun facts and take pictures of their discoveries.
Bonus Activities for Kids:
- Illusion Face-Painting Station: Kids can transform into their favorite spooky characters with our on-site face painters.
- Craft Corner: A place where kids can make their own optical illusion-inspired Halloween masks and props to take home.
