About The Event
Following 58th National Council Session, Girl Scouts Unite takes over the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from July 23–25. Join Girl Scouts from across the country for a dynamic celebration of leadership, service, and the countless ways that Girls Make History.
At Girl Scouts Unite, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Hear from inspiring speakers, like Space Gal Emily Calandrelli
- Meet Girl Scout book authors Sayantani DasGupta and Yamile Saied Méndez
- Experience interactive workshops and live performances
- Meet girls who are taking action in their communities
- Learn about trailblazers and barrier-breakers from past generations
- Venture around the city for events and exhibits commemorating the 250th anniversary of the US
For generations, Girl Scouts have helped shape the nation through service, advocacy, innovation, and leadership. As the country marks its 250th anniversary, there’s no better place to celebrate the lasting impact of Girl Scouts than in the nation’s capital.
