About The Event
It’s a Celebration for the nation! On June 25th & 26th 2016, America’s Main Street, Historic Pennsylvania Avenue will be transformed into in a celebration of community, family and friends as BBQ Teams and Restaurants from across the country compete for over $40,000 in cash and prizes plus the chance to win the title of America’s BBQ Champion.Â
You’ll learn from the best chefs and cookbook authors while sampling over 50 Free BBQ and Grilled Food Samples in the Giant Sampling Pavilion and throughout the event site. Plus 30 Bands on Three Stages, Interactive Exhibits, Wine Sampling, Beverage Gardens, Sports Activities and so much more.
The Giant Barbecue Battle has raised over 1.2 million dollars from past events for nonprofits. Come celebrate the art of BBQ in a spirit of community, family, and fun at Giant National Capital BBQ Battle.
