About The Event

Learn about an artist who takes teatime to another level.

Express lunchtime talks—30 minutes or fewer—are offered most Wednesdays. Facilitated by museum staff members, these conversation-driven thematic talks highlight three to six works on view.

This week, NMWA Assistant Curator Orin Zahra discusses a sampling of works in Ambreen Butt—Mark My Words.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:
This focus exhibition of works on paper by Pakistani-American artist Ambreen Butt explores how she combines traditional, labor-intensive Persian miniature painting with an exceptional range of mark-making techniques.
