About The Event

This week enjoy Moonlight, the Academy Award winning story of human self-discovery and connection, Moonlight chronicles the life of a young black man from childhood to adulthood as he struggles to find his place in the world while growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami.

Moonlight is being brought to you by the DC Public Library on Tuesdays in February as they celebrate Black History Month with their annual film festival. The 28th Annual Black Film Festival offers a Double Feature every week, with entertaining and thought-provoking shorts and full length films.
