Don’t miss the free Community Day to celebrate the newest installment of the New York Avenue Sculpture Project!

The dynamic works of Mexico City-based BetsabeĂ© Romero form the next chapter in NMWA’s public art program, the New York Avenue Sculpture Project, established in 2010. On view September 28, 2018–September 20, 2020, Signals of a Long Road Together comprises four sculptures developed expressly for this installation.

The Community Open House, celebrating Romero’s work in the New York Avenue Sculpture Project, will be free and open to the public.

SCHEDULE:
10 a.m.–12 p.m. Brunch refreshments | Great Hall
11:30 a.m. Welcome remarks | Great Hall
12 p.m. Lecture by Betsabeé Romero | Performance Hall

RESERVATIONS:
Not required. Please note that seating is limited in the Performance Hall.
