
Free Community Day & Makers’ Market
About The Event
Visit the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) on the first Sunday and second Wednesday of each month for free museum admission. Take this opportunity to explore their collection and current exhibitions.
Makers’ Market: On Sunday, December 7, join NMWA for a special holiday market from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., featuring goods from women and gender-expansive vendors, makers, and artists. Shop handmade jewelry, art, ceramics, and vintage finds in the museum’s Great Hall.
Open Studio: Join NMWA educators in the museum’s studio from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., for free, self-directed drop-in art-making activities inspired by artworks on view. Activities and inspirations change each month. Visitors of all ages are invited to participate. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
