About The Event
The largest and longest-running annual international film festival, Filmfest DC 2026, returns with a dynamic lineup of films, marking its 40th anniversary of bringing the best of world cinema to audiences across the District. From April 16 to April 28, the festival will feature a wide range of categories, including Global Rhythms (international music), Justice Matters (social issues), Trust No One (thrillers), The Lighter Side (comedies), and more. With over 3,000 films from 144 countries, Filmfest DC celebrates decades of diverse voices, meaningful community conversations, and captivating international storytelling.
Most screenings will take place at Regal Gallery Place, along with other venues throughout the District. Come downtown and experience 12 days of movie-packed programming!
Colours of Time (France) will be screened on the Opening Night, April 16, as the kick off to the festival. Check out the full film lineup and schedule HERE.
