About The Event
Communicating ideas from one language to another is both an art and a science. While translators are meant to be a window for people speaking different languages to communicate with one another, it is a challenge to remove oneself when translating meaning.
In this interactive conversation, speak with simultaneous translators translating languages such as Spanish, French, Arabic, and local dialects like Kinyarwanda to understand the challenges and surprises of connecting people across language. At the Planet Word Museum on July 28th starting at 11 AM.
