Join The People’s Archive and the Black Georgetown Foundation for Descendants of Black Georgetown: A Panel Discussion on February 18. Featuring DC natives Linda Gray, Monica Roache’, Neville Waters III, and Vernon Ricks, the panel explores excerpts from the 2025 WHUT documentary The Hidden History of Black Georgetown.

Descendants of Black Georgetown: A Panel Discussion is part of the accompanying programming for Freedom & Resistance, an exhibition inspired by The 1619 Project.
