About The Event

Join Mayor Muriel Bowser on Sunday, April 14 at Freedom Plaza (Pennsylvania Ave. NW between 10th and 14th Streets NW) for DC Emancipation Day!

The festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. with a Parade, followed by the DC Emancipation Day Concert at 3:00 p.m., and concludes with Fireworks at 8:30 p.m.
