About The Event
Join Mayor Muriel Bowser as we commemorate Emancipation Day, the historic day when President Abraham Lincoln signed the Compensated Emancipation Act, the freeing of 3,185 enslaved persons in Washington, DC.
Come walk with Mayor Bowser and members of the Bowser Administration at the 2018 Emancipation Day Parade and Concert.
