Experience a profound exploration of identity, belonging, and home with the Dana Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company’s presentation of “An Asian American Dance Journey” at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre from February 27 to March 1, 2025. This compelling program features three evocative pieces; Hyphen, Becoming American, and Leaving Pusan.
Each performance concludes with a Q&A session where Artistic Director Dana Tai Soon Burgess discusses his memoir, Chino and the Dance of the Butterfly, offering insights into his unique modern dance aesthetic shaped by his Korean American heritage.
