About The Event

Please join David Do, Executive Director, Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA) and Pamela Hess, Executive Director, Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture, for refreshments and brief remarks to celebrate the new Arcadia Chinatown Mobile Market stop, bringing affordable and fresh food to the Chinatown neighborhood.

The Arcadia Mobile Market is a farm-stand-on-wheels that makes locally grown produce, meat, eggs, and organic milk affordable and convenient for underserved citizens. Arcadia doubles SNAP, WIC, and Senior FMNP vouchers, so low-income customers can afford twice as much food. Arcadia is a proud participant in the D.C. Produce Plus Program.

The Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander is a proud supporter of the Chinatown Mobile Market.

Arcadia Chinatown Mobile Market stop will be on 6th & H Streets near the Wah Luck House Apartments.
