About The Event

Please join us for a fun Outdoor Family Storytime series in partnership with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library.  Families will get to hear stories, sing songs and move! Adult caregivers must remain present with their child(ren) for the duration of the program.

Children’s Programming: Movement week

October 26th at 9:30 am: 

Step Afrika! Reads is a performance designed to encourage young children of all cultural and economic backgrounds to be active. It emphasizes the importance of parents reading to their children on a daily basis. The 35-minute program is structured for PreK-2nd grade students and combines reading, exercise and creative movement.

Hip Hop Body Rock with Paige Hernandez

This dynamic experience includes interactive hip hop warm ups and an easy dance routine! You’ll learn moves from Paige’s critically acclaimed show HAVANA HOP while grooving to the electrifying original music of The Cornerstore. You don’t wanna miss this!
