About The Event
On Sunday, March 29, join the Washington Area Roadskaters as they celebrate the season with Cherry Blossom Skate, the most scenic roll of the year! Skaters will meet at Pershing Park (across Freedom Plaza) at 10:00 a.m. and roll at about 10:10 a.m. The group will skate past the Washington Monument, Floral Library, Tidal Basin, Hains Point & Enid A. Haupt Garden. Finish through the 12th Street tunnel and back to Pershing Park. Make this the best Cherry Blossom Skate yet. See you there in your best pink gear!
REMINDERS
- Safety First: Helmets are required!
- Hydration: Bring water to stay fueled during the 9-mile loop.
- Vibe: This is a social skate, but be prepared for some city street navigation and tunnel riding.

- Meeting Point: Pershing Park (WWI Memorial) Corner of E Street NW and 14th Street NW.
- Distance: About 8.9 miles.
- Attire: Cherry blossom pink.
- Metro: Metro Center (Red/Blue/Orange/Silver lines) via the 13th and G Street exit.
